This Blog/electronic portfolio is part of an ARC (alternative Route to Certification) program at Seattle Pacific University. Through this blog I hope to demonstrate my knowledge and profeciency of the state standards STLP which can be found in other pages of this blog. During the course of my student teaching will try to update this blog with my thoughts on my student teaching experience and how I may be developing as a teacher. I also hope to gather evidence of my increased understanding of the standards STLP and how they apply to my teaching and how I apply them to my class. Evidence can be in the form of handouts, student projects, reflections on classroom experiences, video, or any other representative examples of my understanding or application of the standards. Lastly I will be posting answers to reflective prompts from instructors.
Through the course of the school year any and all post can and will be edited as my experience as a teacher and my understanding of the standards STLP and how they relate to my teaching increases.
